Its signature feature is automatic real-time tax and VAT calculation, setting aside a reserve from every incoming payment so you are not surprised by a tax bill. It integrates with German bookkeeping tools like lexoffice, sevDesk, and DATEV. Since 2025 it operates as Kontist by Shine (Shine Germany GmbH). There is a free plan; paid plans add more free transfers and bookkeeping features.
